About LiveCodeShare-Pro
A quiet corner of the internet for writing about design, technology, and the craft of building things thoughtfully.
LiveCodeShare-Pro is a personal blog. No brand, no publication, no algorithm-optimized content strategy. Just a place to think through ideas slowly and in public.
The writing here tends to explore the same few questions from different angles: What makes something well-made? How do you think clearly under constraint? What does it mean to do careful work in a world that rewards speed?
I'm a designer and sometimes developer. I've worked on products used by millions of people, and I've worked on small tools used by a few dozen. Both experiences taught me the same things, more or less: restraint is harder than decoration, clarity is harder than cleverness, and the best work usually looks like it wasn't work at all.
What I believe about writing
The essays here are short on purpose. I think most ideas can be expressed in fewer words than writers tend to use — including me, especially in early drafts. I try to cut until what's left is only what earns its place.
I publish when something feels finished, not on a schedule. There's no newsletter (yet). The RSS feed is the best way to follow along if you're interested.
